This festive season Beautiful & Useful is returning to the Garden Museum with an exciting collection of Britain’s best designer-makers selling bold, bohemian and thoroughly beautiful handmade ceramics, textiles, art prints, jewellery and homewares.

New makers joining us for this, the show’s ninth year, include Brighton-based ceramicist Ken Eardley, renowned for his bright, botanical ceramics; Juliet Roberts, former editor of Gardens Illustrated, with her new artisan venture Leather Crafting; jeweller Lucy Behrens and illustrator and embroiderer Megan Ivy Griffiths, whose captivating characters and kits make wonderful gifts.

The carefully curated selection also includes Loomiere Weaves’ tactile scarves, many of them inspired by her studio in Dungeness; willow baskets, backpacks and statement lighting from Sarah Le Breton; contemporary homewares in wood by Oink; and Kate Sampson’s beautiful folk-inspired ceramics, which made a big impression at last year’s show.

This boutique Christmas shopping experience is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Garden Museum, a medieval church building with a Dan Pearson-designed courtyard garden and light-filled contemporary extension housing the award-winning Garden Café.

The day will also include two workshops: Bauble making with Folded Side Project and Decorative box painting with Studio Sosenka. Book fast - places are limited!
